On Monday we went to watch the Saltmine play which has toured in school in Weymouth&Portland this week. It was about the prodigal son, told through 3 people in a junkyard. It was really funny and effective. We've also gone into schools this week as part of the follow up lessons and assemblies done by people from local churches. It's been a great opportunity as between us we have been in every school in Weymouth&Portland in this week and next week, on top of our usual classroom support in our 4 key schools. We also went for fish and chips with the saltmine team, which was great fun

We are very pleased to have Sam joining our team. To help all of us get to know her a bit better, if you have any questions, please reply to this message with them, we'll stick them all in a hat and get her to draw some out and answer them on next week's update.

At our kids clubs this week we talked about Jesus as our friend. We made friendship bracelets which the children really enjoyed, and asked questions like 'what do you look for in a friend' 'what kind of people does Jesus want for his friends' 'If Jesus will be friends with us as we are, what is our motivation to change?'. At Kidszone we are working our way through the of Joshua, and the kids are really identifying with him and being challenged to lead.
