Update 27/02/2010

Hello friends :)
The past to weeks have been busy, productive, and very enjoyable for us!

" target="_blank">

Last week we had a couple of days off, and then headed up north for the Pais Project Swap/M4 conference in Burnley. It was very exciting to be able to take 3 of the young people from churches in Weymouth&Portland with us and we really enjoyed their company and seeing them get stuck in to the seminars and be inspired to reach their schools. We were especially encouraged by the 'Talmadin - ancient methods of postmodern teaching' series and have been putting some of the things we learnt into practise this week, which has been very effective.

This week at our kids clubs we have been thinking about Jesus as a healer. One of the highlights was at Revolution, where we gave the kids the basic facts of a bible story of healing, and got them to act the story out, adding in conversation and showing how each character felt at each point. It was very interesting to see what they came up with and gave some new insight for them and us. Another highlight was Thursday, when, as Kidszone wasn't on, we took some kids to St Francis and played games with them - hide and seek was a definate favourite!

PLEASE PRAY FOR:
God to lead us and local churches as we make decision about next year
Spring Into Life teams who consist of people from local churches (including us) as they prepare to do assemblies and lessons in schools from 8th - 17th March
New children and families to start coming to church
Health, as Mary, Jenny and Peter have all been off sick this week

PRAISE GOD FOR:
The amazing time we had at the Swap/M4 conference
Giving us great relationships with parents of kids at the kids clubs
Giving us love for the kids we work with and helping us to see them through His eyes

As ever, we are very greatful for your support.
Have a great week
Lots of love
