Introducing the team

Team Leader Hayley Goodwin is 20 years old and is from Weymouth. She joined Pais in 2007 and was on the Blackpool team for 2 years, first as a Team Member then as an Assistant Team Leader. She is based at St Francis church. She is passionate about living and working in deprived communities and being a shining light in the darkness.

Jenny Thompson is 22 years old and is from Texas, America. She has been on mission trips to Mexico and studies Drama at University. This is her first year on Pais and she is based at Easton Methodist church, on Portland. Jenny is a loving and caring person who makes everyone she meets feel special.

Mary Homer is 20 years old. Before she joined Pais this year she was a nanny for 2 little girls in the village she calls home, Highley in Shropshire. She is based at St Aldhelms church and lives with her hosts in Preston. Mary loves going on adventures, knitting, and trying to understand people.

Peter Lepp is from the mid West of Germany, near Cologne. He is 20 years old and is based at Weymouth Baptist Church this year. He likes fruit, as do most Germans, is a great artist and is desperate to see lives transformed by the love of Jesus.

Sam Willing is from Kent but has been on a Pais team in Blackpool for the past 3 years. She is 25 years old but once got mistaken for a student in a primary school. She loves Dr Who, and making things. She doesn't like eating animals or getting bruises, but that happens quite a lot.
