Hello everyone! :)

Or read on ...

We've really enjoyed this week. One of the highlights was a conversation Jenny had with a boy who comes to Revolution, Luke. He was asking her loads of deep questions and she could tell that he was really thinking about it. He was getting so frustrated because he didn't understand everything! It was difficult to answer all the questions, because we don't know everything (obviously!) so Jenny answered some and then told him to look in the bible. It was great to see him challenging himself and thinking through his faith.

Hayley was asked by the teacher of the class she works with at St Georges to come along and help out on their trip to the Fire Station, and so on Wednesday she went with them. It was really good to share that experience with them and it's great that our teachers ask us to do things like that and we are becoming more a part of the school.

This week our subject at our kids clubs was 'prophets who spoke about Jesus'. We talked about how Jesus was God's master plan and how we can always trust in God's plans and promises. At Our House each group looked up a different verse containing a prophecy about Jesus, at Action Club we discussed the question 'Do you trust God' and had amazing, emotional, honest conversations in all of our groups, including one girl telling Peter that she doesn't really believe in God but she comes to Action Club because she loves hanging out with us, and every time she comes she believes in God more and more, and at Revolution the children learnt the verse Jeremiah 29:11 which says 'For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future'.

At KFC it was our last week of the 'Dreams' theme. We love being part of this kids club and have really enjoyed the theme of dreams and learning from lots of different people in the bible who had dreams which were messages from God. We are getting to know the kids at KFC more and more and are getting to know a few parents there as well. At Kidszone this term we have been looking at the story of Daniel. The children are responding very well to the new format of small group discussion and more inclusive games.

On Friday we had a breakfast meeting with the ministers of the churches we are partnering with. It was very encouraging to share stories of great stuff that God has been doing. We are really excited about seeing more amazing things and totally believe that God can bring breakthrough and transformation in loads of different situations.

PRAISE GOD FOR:
Kids asking amazing questions and not being satisfied but wanting to know more and more of God
For placing his treasure in jars of clay (2 corinthians 4)
Providing us with all we need, especially wonderful people to work with

PLEASE PRAY FOR:
The fire service, for safety and blessings, that they would be given strength and phyiscal and emotion rest and refreshment
Kids to start coming to church
That we'd be able to be a great support for people here and have our eyes open to each oppurtunity.

Thanks! We know that prayer is hugely important so please continue to pray for us and let's see more great stuff happen, by God's great power and love!

Love
Hayley, Jenny, Mary and Peter
